Fender Z-model

어쩌다  '52빈티지와 교환을 하게 된 Fender Z model Natural Finish

스트라토 이다.  에쉬바디에 하얀색 픽가드 이쁨에 그냥 넘어 가서

잠시 쓸 요량으로 교환을 했다.  

 

특이하게 Z모델 이지만 아메리칸 모델은 아니다.  스탠다드에서

아메리칸으로 정착되는 과도기의 모델이다.  

아메리칸 모델은 줄감개 부분이 높이가 일정하지 않다.  1번현의 줄감개가

가장 낮고 6번이 높다.  그래서 탠션이 조정되어 스트링 가드가 1개 이지만

이 기타는 줄감개 높이가 같아 스트링가드가 2개 이다.

이부분만 틀리고 나머지는 아메리칸 모델의 특징을

가지고 있다.  

(이런 특징 때문에 나중에 이기타를 가져간 shildara님이 고생좀 했다.)

소리는 에쉬바디의 특징 답게 "탱 탱 한 " 크린과  크린과 게인이 살짝

섞인 듯한 크런치가 매력적이다.  

하지만 픽업은 조금 불만인게  아메디럭스에 그것도 클래식 스택픽업으로

교체해 몇 년 사용을 했더니 좀 픽업이 떨어지는 느낌은 어쩔 수

없었다.  픽업을 텍사스로 바꿀까 하다가

결국 시집을 보냈는데 z 모델은 비교적 훌륭한 기타라고 할 수 있다.
